ROLE of the POSITION:
KUNV’s Director of Underwriting develops sales strategies and executes underwriting sales for KUNV 91.5 The Source and additional digital channels. This person also works with the Marketing Director to grow corporate support and build station exposure. This person may also work with students to help them increase underwriting support for student-directed programming or digital channel(s).
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and 2-3 years related professional experience.
SALARY RANGE:
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.

We are in search of a dynamic Marketing Lists Account Representative, reporting to our Woodland Hills, CA location. We are looking for a leader, a great negotiator, yet a humble team player, who can lead and grow our data sales line of business. The right candidate has an established sales management record and continually strives to achieve maximum potential. A great personality and the ability to take constructive criticism is essential.
Responsibilities:
Work with new and existing customers to build a profile of their ideal prospect in order to source and sell them lead lists and prospect datasets
Assist the customer in identifying the characteristics of an ideal prospect
Maintain an ongoing relationship with accounts to identify opportunities for repeat sales
Identify and source lead lists and prospect datasets best suited for the customer and most likely to convert to a sale
Build lead lists and prospect datasets using basic demographic selects or filters such as age, gender, income level, geographical location, etc.
Apply customer-provided suppression lists against sourced data to avoid selling duplicate records to customers
Provide quotes to customers for standardized datasets and develop custom quotes for specialized data requests, and collect payments
Negotiate prices for data from 3rd party vendors as needed
Continually work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets
Report production numbers to management
Other duties as needed to further the continued growth of our data sales line of business
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in the Online Marketing/Lead-generation space
3+ years’ experience in Direct Inside Sales
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed quotas
Experience in selling standard datasets and/or lead lists
Extremely detail oriented, and an independent worker
Motivated, goal oriented, and a skilled negotiator
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer service oriented with a track record to prove it
Performs well in a fast-paced and pressured environment
Great follow-through and follow-up skills
