This position is responsible for generating revenue through selling, and facilitating the sale of, advertising on the KATV web site, mobile apps and outside vendor products. Contact customers directly and through conventional and interactive advertising agencies. Assist traditional television sellers with integrated (TV/Web/Mobile) advertising proposals and buys. Coordinate traditional sales campaigns with AEs, clients and appropriate departments in KATV.
Ideal candidate should have a formal education equivalent of a Bachelors degree in Sales/Marketing, Communications or a related field. Three years of media sales experience preferred and preferably at least one year of internet advertising experience, with a proven track record of success. Must have knowledge of marketing concepts as they relate to broadcast sales and internet advertising. Must have knowledge of Window-based programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and effective oral and written communication skills and mathematical proficiency.
