The Digital Traffic Coordinator will work across a variety of business units within CBC New Media Group including advertising, marketing, editorial, technology, and ad operations. This individual will make sure that all digital ad campaigns are correctly set up within our ad server. The Coordinator must communicate with individuals at different levels in the organization and may be required to prepare progress reports for upper management as well as timely reports for the Sales team; will be tasked with discovering innovative and effective ways to extract the most functionality from of our ad server tools and vendors, and must constantly look for ways to better serve our advertisers.
Exemplary communication skills are necessary as well as attention to detail to ensure that deadlines are consistently met. This person must have good planning skills and the ability to anticipate problems and quickly find solutions, as well as have the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with DFP and/or Wide Orbit. Basic familiarity with general web technologies used by ad codes (HTML, JavaScript, Flash, etc.) or a strong willingness to understand them are required; must have excellent MS Excel skills, and be experienced with other MS Office Products (Word, PowerPoint).
