Candidate must have a College Degree and a minimum of four years of broadcast television sales experience.
Candidate will supervise a diverse and seasoned sales team.
The Local Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving revenue goals/budgets, increasing revenue through new business development, managing station inventory, creating multiple sales packages with appropriate pricing and interacting with local Advertising Agencies. Strong verbal and writing skills a must.
A proven track record of successful sales experience will be required. Outstanding teaching, training, motivating and leadership skills also required. Understanding multi-platform selling and the opportunities it presents to clients will differentiate the candidate from others. Must be able to keep many balls in the air without letting any hit the ground.
