Responsibilities include proactively selling marketplace and classified advertising (in print and online products), prospecting for new business, building relationships, provide exceptional customer service, sales forecasting, strategically apply assets to deliver on the clients needs, and meet monthly and quarterly sales goals. This position is inside sales with little to no travel required.
Candidate must be driven, a self-starter, and team-oriented with 1-3 years advertising sales experience preferred. Must be able to work well with others, be a self-motivator, and manage multiple priorities in a niche market. Must also be willing to learn, coached and be mentored. Above average organizational skills are also a must. Recent college grads with communication degrees and exposure/interest in consumer electronics, selling advertising for school newspaper, web site or radio station are a plus.
