Person needed to effectively convey a vision for the Durham Bulls game entertainment experience, and from that, have the ability to work with all applicable departments to bring that vision to life. Will lead the Durham Bulls game presentation team conceiving and executing the best in-game show/experience in all of sports. This individual will be the liaison with sponsorship, marketing, ticket sales, and other key Durham Bulls departments in activating their needs and objectives in-game. In conjunction with marketing and sales, lead department efforts in producing and managing key Durham Bulls events including Fan Fests, theme nights, concerts, charity events, season ticket holder events and others. The Promotions Director will lead venue staff (video board design, audio/visual, on-field staff, and PA announcer) in collaborating to produce all elements of Durham Bulls in-game experience. Coordinate all game-day and offseason promotions, which include theme nights, between inning games, etc. Will also be responsible for develop and administer the teams promotions budget.
During the 2017 baseball season, this individual must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as assist with pulling tarp as needed. A minimum of three years of experience running promotions in sport or event venues is necessary; video production experience is preferred, but not required. A pre-employment drug screening is required.
