KSE Radio Ventures, LLC is searching for a highly talented Sales Manager with a proven track record of driving new business.
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the day to day operations of the Sales department, including development of new business and achievement of revenue goals. This position will report to the Director of Sales and will be required to lead, coach, mentor and train the other Local and National Sales Support personnel.
Identify, recruit and develop high-performance sales talent and build a successful team to ensure continued top-line growth
Functions as a business leader utilizing core leadership principles in recruiting, training, motivating and developing a group of account executives into a cohesive team in order to increase productivity and meet/exceed minimum sales expectations/requirements.
Lead the local and regional sales effort and focus on diversifying the broadcast sales portfolio and penetrate growth business categories
Drive sales, deliver growth, exceed goals and live in the details of the business
Create sales packages and opportunities for account executives.
Assists and provides training to account executives by attending face to face sales calls.
Direct our sales operating system for training, business development and time management around our business category focus using best in class business and sales systems
Generating sales reports, including those related to commercial inventory for sales management as needed
Establish rates which account for the inherent value of the market assets and ensure that AEs adhere to rate structures when presenting proposals to clients and prospects.
Build a culture based on new business development
Lead team in drafting business correspondence, sales collateral and presentations
Work across departments to proactively support each other’s endeavors and optimize execution
Contribute your talents and time to meeting challenges, solving problems and rising to the opportunities
Make every decision to ensure that we have a thoughtful game plan to tactfully execute each decision and activity
Supervising the sales process from start to finish including the accurate and timely input of orders, copy instructions, and order revisions
Monitoring sales support interaction with advertising agencies and clients
Manages an account list billing approximately $30-50K per month.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of advertising or relevant sales experience with steady career progression as a top sales performer.
Must have a strong business acumen and understanding of lead generation, CRM, account/business development and inventory management
Must have high energy with strong goal orientation and ability to coach and lead the sales team.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have excellent organizational skills
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Candidates must have knowledge of Nielson NSI rating competencies as well as Marketron.
Must have a proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook).
